Odaiba

Recently, I went to Odaiba, bay side area in Tokyo for business.

The purpose was actually photo shooting but I was not a cameraman(The photos above is taken by me after the work). There was a photo session for our client and my roll was something like a combination of a director and a translator. Since I have arguably the best knowledge of photography in our office, I was sent there as a photo director. Besides this, we needed to speak in English because the client was foreign airline company. Nevertheless, the people from the studio can barely speak English.
I’m in fact doing very various works in the web area even though my job description is ‘web designer’. To describe with a recent buzzword in Japan, I’m a sort of ‘polyvalent person’. (I don’t know whether polyvalent is a suitable word for describing a person though) A topic for which I mostly spend my time in these days is learning PHP indeed.
I believe skills are multiplicative, not additive. It can be very interesting if I could multiply some of my skills such as photography, flash, designing, programming and so on. Of course, a crucial thing I shouldn’t forget is, it effects unless I have small parameters. (If a parameter is less than 1, it cuts whole of the score.) Thus, I need to study very hard.
