Kyoto the 3rd to 5th day
I just spent the weekend in Kyoto idly at the accommodation because I didn’t feel going to a sight seeing. In fact, the prime purpose of this trip is ‘living in the different life from Tokyo’, therefore, I really don’t need to bring myself to temples and shrines with countless tourists. Instead, I indulge myself into a slow life, talking with stafs, staying at cafe and walking around the accommodation.
Gekkoso
This is the accommodation, which opened in this location three years ago, I stayed. Although the building is more than 70 years old, it has got its orifinal taste. Incidentally, this place in the photo is a kind of living room where parties take place every night.
Kenkun-shrine
Five minutes walking from Gekkoso, this place enshrines Nobunaga Oda who is a legendary Samurai 500 years ago, though this shrine itself is not really famous. On the top of mountain where the shrine located, you can see the whole city of Kyoto.
Going to Osaka
I somehow went to Osaka with a staff from Gekkoso. Provided choice between Kyoto and Osaka both of them are very crowded at weekends, I thought it would be fun to go bustling Osaka. Indeed it’s the first time to visit Osaka for me and the city was so exciting. Everywhere you can buy takoyaki(Octopus Ball) -delicacy in Kansai Area-. I’ll provably visit there again.
