I’m moving!
In this weekend, I’m going to move house. Due to the sickness, I was very concerned about this issue but I’ve been successfully managing preparations and it’s the final stage at last.
A surprising, or perhaps astonishing thing is, where I’m going to move is Roppongi, the absolute centre of Tokyo. It’s said, the place is the most expensive place to live in Japan, namely, the world. So costly is there, only riches can afford residences.
Needless to say, I’m not that rich and it’s impossible to live in a standard accommodation. However, lucky me, I’ve found an ideal flat which has a couple of minor points I don’t care of. For instance, lack of TV reception; I hardly watch TV. Never have I turned on TV by myself since I came back to Japan in fact. Thus, I don’t care at all.
From there, I’ll be able to ride bicycle instead of the notoriously crowded train to the office. And it makes my commuting time only 20 minutes from 80. What’s more, within 15 minutes on foot, I can reach either of Roppongi Hills or Tokyo mid town, both of which are quite famous for shopping, art and many cultural things.(FYI, I need to walk 20 minutes even going to the nearest train station from my current house)
At this moment, I’m absolutely hecktic but anyway I’m very looking forward to it.
