Renewal
Well, I managed to release the renewed version of the site.
Truth to be told, I was planning to upload the site before Xmas but watching 24 season 6(because it's 24th Dec!) hindered the progress. Moreover, there are some troubles due to the server transfer. But anyway it' okay, I've done it before the New Year.
The previous design was created when I stayed at auntie’s house at Melbourne. I was in fact farley satisfied with the result but as the time goes by my tendency found some premature points. Thus, I tried to improve the following point at this time.
- Spacing
This is the highest priority of renewal. At the previous design, attempting to optimise the site for 800 width resolution screen made the site quite narrow; nevertheless it was vertically bit spacious. Therefore, I made a scrupulous effort on it. - Japanese title available
Probably it doesn’t concern English version readers but actually the most of the readers of this page is Japanese, and I wanted to entitle the entries in Japanese as well. However due to the system reason, it was difficult to archive this function but finally I made it. However, it was a kind of trade-off which I had to relinquish 'next, previous entry function'. Maybe I need to carry a further research to solve it. - AJAX
Recently, I started to use jQuery and it's absolutely fascinating! I made use of it on this site as well.
That's all for now. With this renewal, I anew noticed how flexible ExpressionEngine is. Although there is a restriction of title handing, it's because of unusual bilingual trick. Apart from it it was literally depends on my imagination. I could integrate a couple of blogs and make small functions by PHP and despite the adaptability, the output code remains clean enough (validated XHML+CSS).
I really hope ExpressionEngine thrives in Japan as well.

Tokyo T9 Friends
Here is my recent work,
http://www.jt9.jp/
This is a promotion site for a mobile promotion site for T9, mobile text input technology.
I was in charge of every thing apart from still visuals, namely, flash programming, sound effect creation, and so on, oh, plus File Maker database for organise contexts. In terms of visual design, there are some designers who are better at that kind of production than me, so I don’t have to attempt it.
Although the site has a few contents, I’m very proud of its detailed quality. At the next phase, what I’m looking forward to is that we are going to put more contents there and make it more vibrant.
Speaking about Action Script, I did so much works on it. I would say, finally I could make well use of AS2.0, though 3.0 has been already available. Custom scene management classes and FuseKit library helped me so much.
However, I shouldn’t be complacent at this point. It’s only the beginning. Comparing to the other many cool site on the net, our site is not really inferior to them but nor is it superior. Thus, at the very least, we should keep this quality for the every projects.

Renewal
I renewed this blog as you perceive.
Actually, the previous design was not so bad. However, whenever I see many cool web sites all around the Internet, I begin to feel re-design this site as well in order to improve the appearance. I can’t think that I wanna be a No.1, but as far as I hear my internal voice that says I can be better, I should follow my inspiration.
Adapted a software, named Expression Engine, which is not well-known in Japan, I made this site and tried to accomplish some technical issues.
*Make a bilingual site
I’ve been writing in English and Japanese since this New Year, for the reason, the entries were quite long. Since almost all people read only one language, I should’ve divided entries and Expression Engine enables me to do it. In addition, I can now distribute Japanese RSS as well as English version, thus, it’s become more accessible for Japanese readers. In fact I want to use Japanese title too. However, due to a technical reason, so far, it’s only on a trial stage.
*Wiring strictly validated XHTML and CSS
Perhaps, it’s a sort of masturbation by a nerd, I believe, writing code with standard and exhibit cool layout is quite important factor of web designing. I’m bit afraid about how Mac users see because I don’t have the environment at all but anyway it’s OK on Win IE, Firefox, and reasonably fine on Opera.
There are several interesting things, probably I’ll write the other time.
I guess as the rare information, Expression Engine’s topic should take Japanese’s fancy.
Besides this, I put some new works at Portfolio page. Have a look if you are interested in.

wallpaper
I like making PC’s wallpaper by myself and this is the recent one.
Although I usually use 3D graphic softwares, I, this time, used a photo from my stock.
Making this kind of graphic works is actually big fun for me. I can improve my creativity and often find new techniques.
What’s more, maybe, I’ve been bit frustrated with studying English in these days. Studying English is so great but English itself is -actually, I’ve already mentioned this issue quite a few times- not my purpose. Making use of it is indeed my aim. Anyway, I’ve finished my course completely today. Even though I need to take an exam, which I failed 6 months ago, on Wednesday, I don’t have to do intensive studying anymore. Come to think about my purpose, I guess, I’ve reached start line at last.
