We were planning to climb the rock even though doing it was not recommended from aboliginal culture.
However, due to the rainy weather forecast, we were not allow to do it.
Actually, the weather was totally fine. So we could’ve climbed.
It was bit disappointing but maybe good for our conscience.

Sunset and sunrise at Uluru were entirely mesmarising.
Maybe the clouds, which brought about the bad forecast, enhanced the beauty.
What’s more we could see the rainbow over Uluru in the last day.
I suppose the experience seeing rainbow at Uluru is rarer than climing it.

The 1st, 2nd, 3rd photos, Kata Tjuta (The Olgas)
Kata Tjuta(The Olgas) is quite famouse among Japanese for the original set of Hayao Miyazaki’s movie “Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind”.
Actually, I felt as if I were in the movie. During the walking, we could see gigantic rocks everywhere. It was absolutely spectacular.
Well, I like this place the most in this trip.

The 4th, Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Well, it’s the rock. This rock is also quite famouse among Japanese for a blockbuster Japanese Movie. However, the problem is I haven’t seen it at all. So I can’t feel any emphasis. Nevertheless, the scenery was great.
Anyway I’ll upload more on next entry.

Finally, I can show the photos from the tour in Alice Springs.
I actually can’t write much for here because it’s really difficult to convey what I felt there.
In the urban cities, tremendous things evoke my thought. However, in the magnificent nature, I say just “Wow”.
That’s all.
I’m too far from realising something from the nature.

I’m just happy if I could express what I saw at that moment through my photos.

*The first photo,
During the trip, I could feel as if it was just normal to see this kind of scenery as like as the trip up to the North, which we did last December.
So when can I see this again..?

*The second, Southern Cross
Now, you can find Southern Cross easily.
Look for two bright stars connected red lines.
Expand this line to the top of the sky.
You then see the one of Southern Cross.

*The third and fourth, Kings Canyon
Can you see people in the fourth one?
What an enormous sheer cliff it was.

On the tram to the station, I confirmed the train ticket excitedly.
“Well, we are going to get this train,,, ugh!? something, something wrong..”
It was suppose to be written “Depart from Melbourne 4/6 21:00” (This figure may not be precise). We planned this trip really carefully from February.
However, it was actually written “Depart from Melbourne 4/6 07:30”
The train had gone already!

In reality, the timetable we used for planning had been expired the end of March. Therefore, we didn’t notice the change, even though it was exactly printed in the ticket. I travelled with a friend but neither of us confirmed the departure time in advance.
The other friend named us “Scatter Brains”.

So astounding was the fact that we couldn’t stop laughing.

One consolation is that train runs slowly, so if we flied next morning we could catch with it in Adelaide. We booked air tickets immediately on the Internet. Actually, the air tickets were not so expensive. It costed less than $100 each. But instead of this, we had use a bit isolated airport. (Melbourne has two domestic airports.) Anyway, we could avoid serious case and it took just 2hours to fly to Adelaide. It sounded even nicer than 12hours trip by the train.

BUT the funny story didn’t stop here.

We promised to get together 10:30 a.m. at station to catch a shuttle bus to the airport.
Next morning, I was waken up by a phone call from the friend and the clock on the mobile showed 8:30.
She somehow asked me “Are you alright?”
Well, it took around an hour to go to the station from my place.
Therefore, Ugh? it might not be OK..
At that time the clock was still Perth time, which means it was already 10:30 in Melbourne time! In fact, I woke up around 5:30(yeah, it was Perth time) but went back to the bed again.

We needed to use the shuttle bus which departed from the city at 11:15, otherwise, we had use a taxi costing more than 80 bucks! Luckily, my cousin offered me a lift to the nearest station. So I could’ve reached there before departure if I hadn’t done it..
From the station until which I got a lift, I tried using a taxi to the station where the shuttle bus departed. After a few minutes getting the taxi, I noticed something missing. I left my organiser, which included my passport, credit cards and the other important things!
So I had to go back the house.
Next problem was that I didn’t have the house’s key. I thought I no longer needed the key. So I left it inside of the house. What’s more, there was nobody in the house at that time. I had to wait my cousin back in front of the door.
Check Mate.
Not only did I miss the shuttle bus but also the aeroplane itself.

Still, we had a consolation. I was afraid that we had to fry to Alice Springs but we found another fright going to Adelaide by Qantas. It costs around $200 each. Of course, I payed for the friend as well.

Anyway, 7th April afternoon, with having a lot of laughter and misery, we arrived Adelaide safely and started heading to the next destination Alice Springs by the train.
