Kyoto 8th day and after the journey

at Gekkoso

at Gekkoso

At the last day, I travelled through the city by bike for getting souvenirs. As a person who is always suffering from the steep slopes in Tokyo, the slopes in Kyoto is almost nothing. I believe the best transportation at city are is definitely bicycle.

After the return to the accommodation, I as usual spend the afternoon idly at the community space. It was very comfortable to abandon myself to the relaxing time. Actually, it’s hard to recall when I could indulge in being myself naturally the last time.

I guess, the meeting with the people from the accommodation is absolutely serendipitous. The life they live in is totally different from mine.
Although I’m reasonably proud of and satisfied with my life, I realised that the slow life like them would be nice as well. Since I’ve been just pursuing my calling earnestly, the finding triggered a kind of identity crisis.

Nevertheless, I should also consider two things. People tend to desire what they don’t have. Besides I’m highly susceptible. In fact they also have problems on their mind.

All in all, the conclusion I came up at the bus going to Tokyo is, wherever I am I enjoy everyday and have hope for tomorrow. I haven’t yet achieved anything in Tokyo. My battery has been fully recharged and I can run out again until the next break point.

Kyoto the 6th and 7th day

The sixth day.
Since I had only a few days left in Kyoto, I took up a tour again by bicycle borrowed from the accommodation. The course was very typical for Kyoto sightseeing and there are bunch of people at every temples I visited. Despite the fact, I enjoyed shooting photos as usual.

The seventh day.
It was a kind of hiking at Fushimi Inari Shrine where is one of my favorite place in Kyoto. This place is indeed magical. There are literary thousands of shrine symbols on the mountain and you can have a walk bellow them. Although it’s even terrifying sometimes, I’m totally enchanted by this shrine.

Kinkaku ji
Kinkaku ji
One of the most famous temples in Japan. It’s absolutely picturesque indeed. Probably, the temple with snow would be more beautiful.

Ryoan ji

Though this is a prominent zen garden, there are too many tourist to have a meditation. Actually it took a significant amount of time to take this photo.

Hushimi Inari

It’s not really off the beaten track, but anyway bit far from the center of the city. Therefore, I could find less people there although it’s well known for some movie sets.
